CriticalMass (NEVCA)

New England Venture Capital Association (NEVCA) has launched CriticalMass, a dedicated workspace designed exclusively for promising start-ups with the full commitment of the regional venture trade group and initial sponsor support from some of New England’s most well-respected venture capital firms. CriticalMass will provide early stage entrepreneurs with a place to work, learn, collaborate and start new companies. However, CriticalMass will go beyond a typical co-working space because it will bring together a broad cross-section of the Boston area start-up community – experienced technology leaders, first time entrepreneurs and investors-- to drive new company creation without an expectation that all the related startup activity needs to be or will be venture-backed. It is the Association's goal to advance our collective interest in helping the region’s best ideas and brightest entrepreneurs thrive right here in the Northeast.

Venture Café

Venture Café was created to provide a resource for the Boston entrepreneurial and innovation communities. VC's mission is to enable fresh and useful conversations by bringing together CEOs, investors, and new entrepreneurs. The Venture Café, through its physical space and online communities, can provide the framework upon which numerous experimental “applications” can be nurtured and launched. Currently, the Venture Café is located on the 4th floor of CIC, just down the hall from the newest C3 space.

Anything Goes Lab

Anything Goes Lab is an accelerated program for entrepreneurs trying to launch their next big idea. It focuses on speed and energy, and has at its core Bill Warner’s philosophy of not forcing one’s heart to follow one’s head. Bill has spoken frequently on that philosophy, and uses it in conjunction with story-based, peer support structure to help new ideas grow quickly and effectively. The Anything Goes Lab achieves success through low costs, no equity, and, most importantly, by putting talented, excited people in contact with one another in a cultivating environment. That cultivating environment is C3, where the Anything Goes Lab is available.
